04.02.02 - New site is up and running. GO HERE.
01.15.02 - Happy New Year, everyone! In the next month or so, I'll be doing a complete overhaul of this site including a redesign, updates, and cleaning up of older site content. Be on the lookout for it! In the meantime, continue to check the Official Jackson Brothers site for news and updates concerning Jonathan and Richard.
10.15.01- Hi everyone. Sooooo sorry it's taken me this long to resurface. I'm afraid it'll be a bit longer until I can be ready for updates on a regular basis again, but I wanted to post a new page on seeing Scarlet River at Berean's Christian Bookstore in Colton, CA on Saturday. I got a few pictures too, so check it out! Scarlet River @ Berean's
09.10.01- Hi, everyone. I'm baack; miss me? :) So sorry I was missing in action for so long, but stuff has been hectic, and I still don't have much time online these days. However, I am glad to report that LA is just as happenin' of a place as ever, and that I have found a job to support my concert-going habit. School is interesting, as are my first-time experiences at a private school that's bursting with money. Whoa, those are some dang expensive fancy readers...
So anyway, on to what you guys really want to know, and some news on Jonathan!
Last month, Jonathan and Richard were talked about on E! Online's Ask Marilyn column:
Dear Marilyn: Will we see talented brothers Richard Lee and Jonathan
Jackson on the big screen soon?
Leticia, Austin, Texas
Dear Leticia: The brothers are together in a band called Scarlet
River, but as far as film work goes, older brother Richard Lee has
nothing upcoming, while Jonathan stars in two features that shot
concurrently and recently wrapped.
There's Disney's Tuck Everlasting, in which he plays Jesse Tuck, a
teenager whose family has discovered a spring that keeps people from
growing old. After 15-year-old Winnie (Alexis Bledel) discovers the
Tucks, she must decide whether or not to become immortal and stay
with Jesse, with whom she has fallen in love. Also starring are
William Hurt, Ben Kingsley and Sissy Spacek.
The other picture is the cop thriller Insomnia, starring Al Pacino,
Robin Williams and Hilary Swank.
With such action going on, you can see why the 19-year-old--who won
three Daytime Emmys for his role as General Hospital's Lucky Spencer--
decided it was time to leave soaps for the big screen. He has gone
far since his first Corn Pops commercial.
Scarlet River's first CD, "This I Know," is now on sale! If you don't already have it, head on over to Jackson-Brothers' Scarlet River page and order it!
Here's a cool link: The Walls, who had songs on the sountrack for On The Edge, played at Slane Castle with U2 on Sept 1st.
Jonathan and Richard will be signing CDs at a meet and greet at Border's Books and Music on Friday, September 28th, 2001 in Newark, Delaware from 7-8:30pm. Their Return of Glory concert will the night after at Middletown High School. All the information can be found on the JB Concert page.
