hi everyone! yes, i know i haven't updated this page in months and months. and honestly, i don't know when i plan on doing so again. time is a very scarce commodity these days. i am leaving the site up as is though, so those of you new to jonathan :) can catch up on his career thus far. please check out the always updated official page for the most recent info. in the meantime, must-know news include jonathan got MARRIED (congrats!) and that tuck everlasting finally came out in theaters this past weekend! the movie is amazing! if you are a jj fan, DO NOT MISS THIS. in fact, you should probably be on your 3rd or 4th viewing by now. ;) i fully expect a horde of new fans from this project, and nothing could make me happier. if you need to contact me, i will still be checking my email once a week or so. so that's it. till later...happy jj watching!

- whisky: there are also some more pictures from the whisky concert provided by norma!
- ccm: there is a brief article and picture of jonathan in the current issue of contemporary christian music magazine in which he talks about his new projects and his faith. amy grant is on the cover.

- jonathan's birthday!: ...was yesterday. say goodbye to teenager-dom, jonathan is now 20! and how did he spend this momentous occasion? why, rubbing shoulders with legends of the silver screen of course...his insomnia co-stars! jonathan is in new york doing press for the new movie, and attended the premiere at the tribeca film festival last night. check out the insomnia page for pictures, reviews, and other news including a new contest!

- mtv sighting!: so even though jonathan wasn't on teen people's 25 under 25, he still made it into mtv's special on it. alexis bledel, jonathan's co-star in tuck everlasting, was on the list, and during her bit, they showed a clip from "tuck" with jonathan in it! check the calendar page for rerun dates on mtv. :)
- insomnia specials: also on the calendar page are showtimes for special behind the scenes featurettes on insomnia. jonathan is definitely in the one on bravo, but no word yet on the hbo special.
- Lucky and Liz montage: made by a poster on soapzone, this is an excellent video montage of lucky and liz scenes set to the corrs' "breathless." check it out here.

- jonathan and lisa engaged!: everyone must know by now about the engagement of mr. jonathan jackson and ms. lisa vultaggio. it was announced last friday just hours before the whisky concert via the jackson brothers email list. jonathan had this to say: "This is an amazing gift and we intend to have as much fun as we possibly can!" it was ALSO reported in the soaps in depth issue that week. here's an exact quote:
Sources share with Soaps in Depth that GH alumni Jonathan Jackson (ex-
Lucky) and Lisa Vultaggio (ex-Hannah) have announced their engagement
to be married. The couple first met two-and-a-half years ago at the
time when Jackson was departing and Vultaggio was joining GH, and

- nix teen people: jonathan will NOT be in the june issue of teen people's "top 25 under 25" after all. he will be featured in another upcoming issue instead.
- movie updates: the most exciting is the new poster for tuck everlasting! also, many many updates to the insomnia page, as well as the on the edge and night visions pages. calendar and the jj store have also been updated.

- insomnia: watch out for the media onslaught! jonathan has been doing the rounds, so keep an eye out for him in website interviews, newspapers, magazines, and entertainment news shows. let me know if you hear of anything! also, he's scheduled to be interviewed for either the may 17th or 24th issue of entertainment weekly. and lastly, and perhaps most exciting, you, yes YOU, can win a trip to the los angeles premiere of the movie on may 22nd! go to imdb's insomnia page. click on the banner on top, and enter to win!
- jono and the rock: scarlet river (was: road) is now "jono and the rock." jonathan and richard's long-time nicknames make up the new name and represents that they no longer have a "band" but is more the two of them as musicians and artists collaborating together. catch their debut at the whisky in hollywood this friday. tickets will be available at the door only. also, jono and the rock's new cd, "glory come undone," will be available at the concert on friday (cash and money orders only) as well as over the internet.
- teen people's 25 hottest stars under 25: congratulations to jon for making teen people's list of the 25 hottest stars under 25!! he'll be featured in the june issue of teen people. there will also be an mtv special on the feature on may 4th at 8pm!
- gh's 10,000th episode: did you all catch this last week? FOUR clips of jonathan as lucky were shown!
(1) little lucky watching luke and laura speed by in the pink caddy, circa 1993;
(2) mary mae and the pips! jonathan and tony is shiny purple suits!;
(3) lucky and liz's first kiss by the boxcar (sigh); and
(4) lucky and elizabeth's valentine's day 1999 in the church.

- old gh castmates mentioning jonathan recently: ...all because of dedicated jj fans. :) first, check out amber tamblyn's mention of jonathan on her official message board. and second, check out what john ingle had to say about jon at disney's recent super soap weekend in anaheim, ca.
- deoto ratings: remember earlier this month when "the deep end of the ocean" was shown on cbs? it was ranked 17th in the weekly ratings with a 9.1 share. not too shabby.
- the salton sea?: jonathan was mentioned in a press release that he would be going to the premiere of "the salton sea." it was this past tuesday at the egyptian theater, but so far, no pictures of him have turned up so we don't actually know if he was actually there. ;)
- site stuff: check out the revised jj calendar for new tv dates and other special shtuff. also, the search function over to the side should be working now. and do me a favor and sign my guestbook - i live for your feedback. :) i'll be at the concert at the whisky this friday so come on by and say 'hi' if ya see me! i hope to have a review up sometime during the weekend, but no promises cause my master's thesis is due on monday. - special gh episode: a special episode of "general hospital" will be airing on wednesday april 17th to celebrate the show's 10,000th episode. beloved cast members, both present and past, will be featured in a look back on the history of gh. originally, the press release didn't mention jonathan's name, but he's been since seen in promotional commercials for the special episode. specifically, it was a scene of (jonathan's) lucky and liz at the church saying their vows. no guarantees that he'll be in the episode, but it may not hurt to tape it just in case! :)
- insomnia: insomnia will premiere at the tribeca film festival in new york on may 11th, 2002! check out j2's insomnia page for more news and updates.

- hollywood star power list 2002: every year, the hollywood reporter puts out a list of the most powerful actors in hollywood. it is ranked from tom cruise and tom hanks with a score of 100.00 to erinn bartlett with a 1.55. this year, jonathan is on the list! he gets a score of 6.80, out-powering other actors such as lacey chabert, andrew keegan, jason london, shane west, nicky katt, leslie bibb, and shemar moore.
